A Catering & Banquet Manager is available for one of our well-known subsidiaries in MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition) industry, based in Jakarta. For over 30 years of experience, we have managed venues and overseen more than 600 events annually. We hold a variety of events in trade and consumer sectors, locally and internationally and across a diverse scale, ranging from meetings, conferences, conventions, exhibitions, to banquets, concerts, religious meetings, etc.

As we strengthen our service, especially aggressively expand our food and beverage department, the suitable candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running for the catering department, event facilities and food & beverage of the establishment. To make initial approaches and contacts, including meeting prospective clients and discussing the arrangement for the menu, table plans, costs, and all details for the events / catering / wedding. Responsible for all administration, communicate to all related departments concern the details of the events. Overall responsible for the profit & loss for the catering department, including manning cost. To be able to prepare short & long term plan to improve the operations.

Requirements employment jobs :

* Bachelor Degree
* Min 5 years experience in the catering and banquet experience
* Min 3 years experience at the management level / supervisory level
* Be independent, positive,initiative, energetic and self-motivated professional capable of working with minimum supervision
* Resourceful and self-driven with a strong sense of commitment and urgency to mett deadline and objectives
* Currently working in 3- to 4-star hotel will be an added advantage
